Takoradi-based company, Jing Tao Sanitary Ware, has generously donated 15 sets of water closets and hand wash basins to Effia Nkwanta Regional Hospital. This donation comes in response to a request from the hospital’s Quality Improvement (QI) team, aimed at enhancing washroom facilities.
As part of the government’s redevelopment project at ENRH, approximately 40 percent of the hospital’s infrastructure, including staff and client washrooms, were demolished. Services were subsequently relocated to other available spaces to maintain continuous operations.
In collaboration with Amandi Investments Limited, hospital management and staff successfully facilitated the relocation, ensuring that services remained uninterrupted. However, the increased traffic from both clients and staff underscored the need for upgraded and additional washroom facilities. In response, the hospital’s management and QI team initiated a project to renovate existing washrooms and construct new ones.
Jing Tao Sanitary Ware was the first company to respond positively to this initiative. During a recent presentation ceremony, Mr. Luo Yun, Managing Director of Jing Tao Sanitary Ware, praised the hospital’s efforts to enhance patient comfort and reaffirmed the company’s commitment to supporting similar initiatives. He also expressed hope for a continued fruitful partnership between the Jing Tao and ENRH.
Members present at the ceremony included the Medical Director, Dr. Joseph Kojo Tambil, accompanied by some members of the hospital’s management team.
Dr. Joseph Kojo Tambil expressed his gratitude on behalf of the hospital, thanking Jing Tao for their generosity. He assured that the donated items would be used exclusively for their intended purpose.
